Job Summary: We are seeking a highly creative and trend-savvy Video Editor to conceptualize, produce, and edit engaging short-form and long-form video content for our social media channels, primarily Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current social media trends, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and proficiency in video editing. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, driving audience engagement, and building brand awareness through captivating video content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm, research, and develop creative and innovative ideas for video content that aligns with brand objectives, marketing campaigns, and current social media trends.
• Stay up-to-date with viral trends, popular sounds, challenges, and editing styles on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Collaborate with the marketing, social media, and content teams to ensure video content aligns with overall brand voice and strategy.
• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and fast-paced short-form videos optimized for specific social media platforms.
• Incorporate various elements such as text overlays, captions, subtitles, motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects.
• Select and integrate trending music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance video impact and appeal.
• Perform color correction, audio mixing, and basic sound design to ensure professional quality.
• Adapt content to different aspect ratios and length requirements for each platform (e.g., 9:16 for vertical video).
• Organize and manage video assets, project files, and final deliverables efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (1-2 years) as a Video Editor, Content Creator, or similar role with a strong portfolio specifically showcasing short-form and long-form video content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar mobile editing applications.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and current trends.
• Exceptional creativity, an artistic eye, and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free content.
