Faith Fighters for America is looking for a motivated, detail oriented Junior Editor to join our creative team. We don’t care if you have a degree or where you went to school we care about your passion for the craft, your eye for storytelling, and your drive to get better every day.

You will work directly with the Creative Director to scale our production volume and streamline our post-production workflow across a wide variety of formats. This is a hands-on role where you will see your work published and credited on major platforms.

The Role: Your Mission

We need a "First-Pass" specialist. Your job is to handle the heavy lifting of the edit so the Creative Director can take your sequence to the finish line.

You will be responsible for taking raw, unorganized footage and turning it into a cohesive story. Once you’ve built the foundation, the Creative Director will step in to handle color correction, SFX, advanced FX, and final audio mastering.

Key Responsibilities

• Media Management: Ingest, organize, and string out raw footage from community events, interviews, podcast, documentary, etc.
• The "Rough Cut": Review hours of footage to find the "gold." You’ll handle the initial assembly, ensuring the narrative is tight and the pacing is on point.
• Timeline Organization: Maintain extremely clean and organized timelines to allow for a seamless hand-off.
• Collaboration: Work 1-on-1 with the Creative Director in our Sarasota office to refine professional work

Mandatory Technical Requirements

• DaVinci Resolve: This is non-negotiable. Our entire workflow is built in Resolve. You must be proficient enough to hand over a project file that is organized and ready for professional color grading.
• Hardware: You must provide your own computer/laptop capable of cutting high-resolution footage in DaVinci Resolve.

• A Self-Starter: You are a "YouTube University" black belt. If you don't know how to do something, you find the tutorial and figure it out.
• Detail-Obsessed: You notice the small things—a frame-perfect cut, a labeled bin, and a synced audio track.

Logistics & Compensation

• Schedule: 2 days per week to start.
• Location: Hybrid. You must be able to work in-office in Sarasota 2 days a week for direct collaboration.
• Pay: $150 per 8-hour production day.
• Commute: We cover your gas! Just provide your receipts for the days you drive into the office.
