Remote | Full-Time | Performance-Based

We’re expanding our creative team and hiring a Senior Video Editor who can produce high-quality, studio-grade content, not generic, templated social edits.

If your editing style relies heavily on presets or cookie-cutter formats, this role is not a fit. We’re looking for someone who treats editing as a craft, someone who can turn raw footage into compelling storytelling that drives emotion, retention, and brand authority.

About the Role

This role includes editing both event coverage and short-form content, contributing to creative direction, supporting content planning, and elevating brand presence through high-level execution.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal marketing teams and creative partners to produce content across multiple formats, including:

  • Event coverage
  • Instagram Reels & TikTok (short-form)
  • Ads and promotional creatives
  • Polished B-roll and cinematic edits

Requirements (Must-Have)

You must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:

  • 5+ years of professional video editing experience
  • Experience editing for high-growth brands, creators, or companies
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality long-form and short-form content
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, emotional timing, and retention
  • Creative strategy mindset (not execution-only)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating premium editing quality (required)

Technical proficiency in:

  • Premiere pro
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Motion graphics
  • Layered editing workflows
  • Premium text design
  • Cinematic color grading
  • High-quality B-roll integration

If you cannot provide real examples of past work, we will not move forward.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and deliver polished, high-impact short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
  • Edit content with clear story arcs and retention strategy
  • Understands how ads and short-form content work, psychologically and strategically, not just visually.
  • Manage creative workflow, planning, and execution
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership on content strategy improvements
  • Maintain consistent brand tone, visual identity, and storytelling framework

Compensation

  • Base Salary: Competitive and based on experience
  • Performance Incentives: Additional compensation tied to quality, speed, delivery, and campaign performance
  • Final compensation discussed after portfolio and experience review
