Video Editor

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic team at Sharp Pixel Studios. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing talking head videos, creating engaging social media reels, and editing YouTube videos for our diverse range of clients. This is a afternoon shift position (12:00 PM to 8:00 PM), and you will be expected to work independently while maintaining a high standard of editing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit talking head videos and reels for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
• Work on full-length YouTube videos, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the edits.
• Implement motion graphics and styling elements to elevate the overall visual appeal of videos.
• Maintain a fast-paced editing schedule while adhering to client feedback and revisions.
• Collaborate with the team to align with project expectations and deadlines.
• Provide creative input and edit with a clear, distinct style similar to industry influencers like Ali Abdaal and Iman Ghazi.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential.
• Strong edit sense with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
• Understanding of motion graphics and how to incorporate them seamlessly into video edits.
• Experience editing talking head videos, reels, and YouTube content.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant video editing work (Please provide portfolio links).

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects for advanced motion graphics.
• Knowledge of current video trends and editing styles, particularly in the space of personal branding and educational content.
