Video Editor and Animator (Onsite, Full Time)

GWA is looking for a skilled and reliable Video Editor and Animator to join our team. This is a full-time, onsite position with long term growth potential. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys editing social media content and telling stories through video.

Requirements

• Good at creating modern reels and animation style videos
• Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
• Good knowledge of After Effects
• Experience with CapCut
• Experience with captioning or subtitle tools
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or AI-assisted editing tools
• Ability to understand and communicate in English

Bonus Skills

• DaVinci Resolve
• Podcast editing
• Motion graphics and animated captions
• YouTube thumbnail design
• Basic understanding of content strategy and analytics
• Experience working with international clients
• Graphic design skills

Responsibilities

• Create strong hooks for short form and long-form videos
• Edit engaging reels with animations, effects, and motion graphics
• Edit short form content for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok
• Edit long-form content such as YouTube videos, reviews, podcasts, and vlogs
• Add captions, b-roll, sound effects, and music
• Keep branding, fonts, colors, and pacing consistent
• Repurpose long videos into multiple short clips
• Optimize videos for each platform (aspect ratio, duration, hooks)
• Apply feedback and revise edits when needed
• Meet deadlines and communicate progress clearly
