Video Editor & Animation Specialist

Job Overview :


The Video Editor & Animator will be responsible for creating high-quality video content and animations to support the agency's marketing, branding, and client engagement efforts. This role involves editing raw footage, adding animations, creating motion graphics, and ensuring videos are optimized for digital platforms such as the website, social media, email campaigns, and advertisements. The ideal candidate will bring creative flair and technical expertise to produce visually appealing content that enhances the agency’s marketing strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


Filming Video & Photography:


  • Capture high-quality video footage and still images for various marketing initiatives, including property showcases, agent profiles, client testimonials, and social media content.
  • Use professional video equipment (cameras, lighting, audio equipment) to shoot video and photos on location or in the studio.


Video Editing :


  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for various purposes, including property tours, promotional videos, client testimonials, and social media content.
  • Sync audio, apply transitions, and color-grade videos to ensure high visual and audio quality.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver videos that meet branding and messaging goals.
  • Manage and organize video footage, ensuring all assets are properly archived for easy retrieval and use.


Animation & Motion Graphics :


  • Create animations and motion graphics for video projects, including intros, outros, lower thirds, and other dynamic elements that align with the agency’s brand.
  • Develop explainer animations and 2D/3D motion graphics for digital ads, social media posts, and website videos.
  • Design animations that enhance storytelling and simplify complex real estate concepts for audiences.


Content Creation for Social Media :


  • Produce short-form videos optimized for social media platforms, including Instagram Stories/Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Create engaging video content that boosts audience interaction and drives brand awareness across digital channels.
  • Edit video snippets or trailers for digital ads and social media campaigns.


Branding & Creative Direction :


  • Ensure that all video content adheres to the agency’s branding guidelines and maintains a consistent visual style.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm ideas and contribute to the development of creative concepts.
  • Stay updated with design trends, video editing techniques, and animation styles to keep content fresh and innovative.
  • Post-Production :
  • Handle the post-production process, including sound editing, visual effects, voiceover syncing, and any other necessary adjustments.
  • Review videos and animations for quality assurance before final approval, ensuring all videos meet the agency’s standards.


Collaboration and Communication :


  • Work closely with the real estate agents, marketing team, and other stakeholders to ensure that video content aligns with marketing strategies and client objectives.
  • Attend meetings to understand project scope, deadlines, and creative direction for video projects.
  • Take feedback and make revisions in a timely and professional manner.


Video Content Management :


  • Manage and organize video libraries, ensuring all content is properly tagged and stored for easy access.
  • Ensure video content is optimized for web and mobile viewing, considering factors such as file size and loading times.



Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in video editing and animation, preferably in real estate, marketing, or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D animation and motion graphics.


Skills:

  • Strong creative and visual storytelling skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in video editing, animation, and post-production techniques.
  • Ability to adapt video & static formats and styles for different platforms, such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and websites.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
