Video Editor – Gaming & Esports Focus

Role Summary

We are looking for a Video Editor with advanced skills in DaVinci Resolve, experienced in gaming montage, gesture integration, and 2D/3D visual content. You’ll be responsible for producing high-impact, culturally aligned, and platform-native videos (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.) for the Gamer Majlis brand and community.

Key Responsibilities

• Create compelling gaming montages, highlight reels, and branded videos for tournaments, clans, and social content.
• Edit 2D and 3D video content for use in marketing, storytelling, and platform UI demos.
• Design and integrate gesture-based overlays (e.g., emotes, pop-ups) using motion graphics.
• Adapt long-form streams into short-form vertical video content for TikTok, Reels, etc.
• Collaborate with esports teams, marketing leads, and community managers to meet brand voice and content strategy.
• Optimize all edits for engagement, platform relevance, and narrative impact.

Must-Have Requirements

• 3+ years experience in video editing, with portfolio showcasing gaming content.
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (Fusion, Color, Fairlight, Cut) Or similar (ADOBE Tools , Magic, Blender).
• Strong grasp of montage techniques (synced edits, kill transitions, cinematic cuts).
• Experience editing both 2D and 3D animation into video content.
• Ability to create, import, and sync gesture/emote animations.
• Familiarity with esports culture, MENA gaming audience, and genre-specific expectations (FPS, MOBA, Battle Royale).
• Strong storytelling and pacing instincts.
• Able to work with Arabic and English voice and subtitle content.

Bonus Skills

• Experience in Twitch/YouTube stream post-production.
• Skills in After Effects, Blender, or other 3D tools.
• Understanding of Arabic-language typography and layout.
• Background in meme-editing, TikTok native formats, or high-velocity social edits.
