The Role

We’re hiring a Video Editor who thinks like a product manager and operates like a creator-operator.

You will own our video content pipeline, from event recaps to promotional launches to sponsor deliverables, while helping us integrate AI tools to move faster, smarter, and better.

What You’ll Do

Core Video Production

• Edit high-quality recap videos from live events
• Create short-form social clips (Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, X)
• Develop sponsor highlight videos and brand integrations
• Turn long-form panels into structured, high-performing micro-content
• Build teaser trailers and launch videos for upcoming events

AI-Powered Editing & Workflow Optimization

• Leverage AI tools (Runway, Descript, Opus, ChatGPT, etc.) to:
• Speed up editing workflows
• Generate transcripts and clip suggestions
• Auto-create short-form content
• Improve captions, hooks, and retention
• Continuously test and implement new AI tools
• Develop templates and automation systems for repeatable outputs

Systems & Process ImprovementBuild a repeatable content engine (not one-off edits)

• Create templates for recap formats, sponsor packages, and social clips
• Improve turnaround time without sacrificing quality
• Proactively suggest better formats, hooks, and storytelling structures

Creative Strategy

• Collaborate on content ideas that increase reach and engagement
• Study high-performing creators and events
• Bring forward ideas weekly on how to elevate our content

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills

• 2+ years video editing experience
• Strong portfolio (event, brand, or documentary-style work preferred)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci
• Deep comfort using AI tools in your workflow
• Strong storytelling instincts
• Fast turnaround capability

Must-Have Traits

• Comfortable experimenting and iterating

• Experience editing event recap videos

• Familiarity with AI site-building or creative tools

What Success Looks Like

• Recap videos delivered within 48–72 hours post-event
• 10–20 short-form clips generated per event
• Repeatable templates created and documented
• Sponsor deliverables turned around quickly
• Ongoing improvements to workflow using AI
• Creative output noticeably improving over time
