All Temps - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26001865)

The University Center for Teaching and Learning seeks an experienced video producer to lead and support media projects. This role is focused on driving production workflows, maintaining momentum across projects, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time, on scope, and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can step into existing processes, identify gaps, and keep projects moving forward—especially in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pre-production planning, including concept development, scripting, and stakeholder alignment for video projects, often of an instructional nature.
  • Drive project execution by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communication across faculty, staff, and production teams
  • Anticipate and remove roadblocks to maintain project momentum and ensure on-time delivery
  • Coordinate and support video shoots, including scheduling, logistics, and occasional on-site production (some evening/weekend work may be required)
  • Maintain high standards of organization and detail across all phases of production, from intake through final delivery
  • Manage digital assets, including file organization, archiving, and documentation of production workflows
  • Contribute to production processes and project management systems, using AI tools when appropriate

Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in a video or media production producer role
  • Demonstrated strength in writing and scripting for video or digital media
  • Meticulous project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt within evolving processes

Working knowledge of camera, audio, or editing tools is helpful but not required; this is a producing and project leadership role.

Flexible, with some remote work. Must be in Pittsburgh area and onsite regularly.
