Overview
GlyMed+, a longtime leader in the professional skincare industry, is seeking a highly skilled and creative Videographer to join our Marketing team. This role will lead the development and execution of high-quality video content across multiple platforms, supporting brand storytelling, marketing campaigns, educational initiatives, and social media content. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a refined creative vision, and the ability to manage video projects from concept through final delivery.
This is an in-office position. Local candidates only.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of video production, including concept development, pre-production planning, filming, and post-production editing.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to create compelling video content aligned with brand goals.
- Direct team members, volunteers, or professional models during shoots while managing all other aspects of production (including lighting, audio, and cinematography) to ensure high-quality, professional results.
- Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment for both studio and on-location shoots.
- Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related tools to produce polished, professional assets.
- Working knowledge of motion graphics and animation to enhance video storytelling.
- Oversee all video production equipment, ensuring comprehensive organization, maintenance, and operation of our gear inventory.
- Maintain a consistent visual brand voice, style, and tone across all video content.
- Stay current with video trends, technologies, and best practices to keep content engaging and modern.
- Archive and organize video files for efficient retrieval and future use.
- Mentor junior videographers or contractors as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional videography and video editing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Frame.io).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of projects (brand, product, social, testimonial, etc.).
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, on-brand visual assets.
- Excellent understanding of lighting, composition, color grading, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, communications, or related field preferred.
Tools & Equipment Experience
- DSLR/mirrorless cinema cameras (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, etc.)
- Basic familiarity with design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD) is a plus but not required.
- Strong proficiency with video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro) is a must
- Gimbals, drones, lighting kits, and professional audio equipment
- Project management tools (Monday, Trello, or similar)
- Video hosting platforms (Vimeo, YouTube)
- Experience in brand marketing (Especially in beauty, skincare, or lifestyle industries)
- Familiarity with livestreaming setups
- Strong sound design and audio mixing skills
Compensation
Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000, based on skills and experience.
