Virtual Assistant (Upwork Sales)

We are seeking a Virtual Assistant Projects Lead who can take ownership of bidding and client acquisition on Upwork, manage VA-related projects, and provide guidance to junior team members. The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, and confident in handling both client interactions and internal team coordination. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role. Candidates should have prior experience in administrative assistance roles such as project coordination, recruitment, and meeting scheduling etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit proposals for VA-related projects on Upwork and other freelance platforms.
• Conduct initial client calls to understand project scope, requirements, and expectations.
• Execute and manage VA tasks such as research, data entry, scheduling, and administrative support.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring timely and quality task completion.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Track bidding activity and project progress, sharing regular performance updates with management.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of proven experience in Upwork bidding and VA service delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in administrative assistance roles such as project coordination, recruitment, meeting scheduling, etc.
• Strong client handling and task management abilities.
• Experience in managing or mentoring a small team/juniors is preferred.
• High degree of flexibility and adaptability across different types of tasks.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines consistently.
