Frontdooris looking fora GeneralTechnicianto perform remote diagnosis and triage. You will engage with Customers using proprietaryStreemtechnologygiving you a live audio and video feedto see the Customer’shomesystems.Your role will help empower Customers to understand repairs they can safely do themselves, andviable, cost-saving options if they cannot.
Responsibilities:
Conduct remote diagnostic and triage appointments withgeneralhome maintenance andrepairCustomers usingStreemtechnology.
Provide technical support usingStreemand other multi-channel interactions in the diagnosis and repair of Customers'applianceservice or maintenance needs.
Deliver a great Customer experience bywalking them through simple, step by stepinstructions tobetter understand theirservice or maintenance need and potential options.
Document all Customer interactions to include systems, model, serial number, any actions taken, and next steps.
Enhance andmaintaintechnical knowledge of currenthome systemtradestandards, codes, and proceduresregardingsafe and effective do-it-yourself instruction.
Contributes feedback for and/orparticipatesin initiatives related to process improvements, development or implementation of new systems or procedures, new business opportunities and performance improvement strategies.
Grow sales volume while driving toacquirenew accounts, build member relationships, and make expert recommendations for upgraded products.
Acquiresandmaintainsknowledge and understanding of product for application in every business transaction.
Develop business relationships and respond to sales inquiries and service needs.
Leveragesandanalyzesdata to gain deep understanding of the market,identifyopportunities and continually develop and implement strategies/tactics to grow existing business.
Grow the business and othersales objectivesand key results (OKRs) asidentified.
Serve as a trusted “Advisor” for best practices and cost efficiency for members.
May include other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Ability to analyze problems and use professional judgement to offerappropriate courseof action according to company procedures and policies
Strong communicationskills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in aneasy-to-understandmanner
Ability to work independently according to procedures and policies
Ability to use Microsoft products(specifically Zoom, Teams, Outlook, and Excel)
Intermediate to advanced technology dexterity infacilitatingmulti-channel interactions
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities effectively and efficiently
Are a self-starter, personable and can develop relationships that create sales
Ability to sell in person or virtually
Are open tonew ideas, and continually looking for new ways to approach the business relationship and sales process

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing withdifferent typesof customers and clients
Experience selling a product for a category creator; products not budgeted for already
Preferred Skills:
Ability to systematically triage and diagnose home systems including Smart Home systems.
Physical Role Requirements : Be seated at a computer intermittently for up toeight hours a day. Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Sitting forlong periodsof time while using office equipment such as computers and phones. Repetitive motionsusing hands anddigits;such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking,pinchingand typing during your normal working environment.
Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirement s: High School diploma or GEDrequired,NASTeCcertification preferred
Minimum Experience required (number of years necessary to perform role) :
5+ years of recent Handyman experience required; Garage Door service and repair, Pool/Spa service and repair, Mentoring, Instructing, and/or Teaching within the Handyperson trades is a plus.
Other/State Specific
This role pays between $41.30/hr to $51.63/hr, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
