Virtual Medical Assistant

Job Title: Clinical Support Specialist (aka Virtual Medical Assistant)

Job Roles

Administrative Support:

- Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone, email, or scheduling software.

- Prepare and send reminders for upcoming appointments or follow-ups.

- Maintain and update patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.

- Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes.

- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and faxes.

Patient Interaction:

- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

- Escalate complex patient concerns to the appropriate medical staff or departments.

- Collect patient information and update records during virtual check-ins.

- Provide patients with instructions for telehealth sessions and other virtual services.

Office Coordination:

- Manage daily workflows to ensure timely communication between patients and medical staff.

- Coordinate with medical providers to ensure schedule alignment.

- Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maintain clinic efficiency.

Work Experience:

A minimum of 02 Years of virtual medical assistance experience in a US-based Healthcare Company is required.

Skills

- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language.

- Proficient in using scheduling and communication tools (Microsoft Office, telehealth platforms).

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

- Excellent Verbal & Written English Communication

- Critical Decision Making

- Strong interpersonal, organizational and data entry skills

- Empathize with patient’s needs

- Proficiency in Microsoft Suit: Outlook, Word, Excel

- Experience of working with EMR Software

Education

- Any of the following degree is required: MBBS degree with 01-year house job or BDS degree with 01-year house job or Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)

Pay and Benefits

· Workdays: Monday - Friday

· Work hours: 6 pm – 3 am PKT (Night shift)

· Gross Salary (USD): $500 - $600
