Under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources / Human Resources Manager you are responsible to provide a full range of government and legal support activities in order to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources Department and the property’s compliance to the local labour law rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Process all types of visas including employment visas, residence visas for colleagues as well as Entertainers, if required

2. Process all type of Health certificates ie Food Handlers, Health Cards

3. Ensuring all colleagues files has complete important documents such as, QID, health card, Arabic contract.

4. Ensuring Civil soft is updated with complete important documents such as, QID, health card, Arabic contract

5. Process and renew permits and licenses including Hotel Trade License, Liquor Trading License, Chamber of Commerce Certificates of Registration, Civil Defense Certificate, etc.

6. Process and renew permits for Walkie-Talkie sets and all medical requirements of colleagues

7. Process and renew Entertainers Permits / N.O.C through Department of Tourism as required

8. Process and renew registration for all hotel vehicles

9. Process and obtain permits for special promotions such as raffles, publishing or advertisement displays, etc. as required

10. Process and renew PRO Card, Immigration Deposit Boxes, etc.

11. Maintain and cultivate goodwill and good relationship with government departments and agencies

12. Be up to date in regards to any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws / rules / regulations, changes in forms / formats and other procedures and keep the Director of Human Resources / Assistant Human Resources Manager advised of such changes

13. Complete departure and exit formalities for colleagues after visa cancellation

14. Submit relevant documents periodically and as required to the Labour Office with regard to cancelled/absconding employees and delete from the hotel’s sponsorship list

15. Liaise and work closely with the Human Resources Coordinator to ensure that forms and formats for all transactions are correct and complete prior to submission

16. Obtain quarterly sponsorship reports from the Labour Office and tally sponsorships and re-submit to Labour Office with relevant support documents

17. Prepare on a monthly basis reports e.g. for visa reconciliation, passport inventory, etc.

18. Carry out other relevant tasks and duties as assigned from time to time.

19. Ensuring that all F&B colleagues have received their food handlers certificates and that they are valid

20. Keeps the HR team updated on any changes in local law or legislation

21. Actively supports the events of the Colleague Welfare Committee, and as part of the HR team present at activities.

22. Complete any projects/task as assigned by the HR Manager

23. As a member of the HR team on call 24 hours a day for emergencies

24. Report all accidents, dangerous occurrences, or hazards, no matter how minor, to the supervisor or Heads of Department

SELF MANAGEMENT

1. Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations and provisions contained in the Employment Handbook

2. Comply with Company Grooming Standards at all times to portray a professional image of self and the hotel.

3. Comply with Time and Attendance Policies set by the hotel.

4. Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development

5. Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety

6. Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures

7. Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of the Line Manager

8. Comply with the Company’s Code of Conduct

9. Familiarize self with the company values.

10. Perform all tasks as directed by the Manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
