Description
At Emumba, we design moments people remember. As our Visual Content Creator, you’ll be behind the lens, in the editing suite, and plugged into the tools shaping the next wave of visual storytelling. You’ll capture team culture, events, and everyday life while collaborating on employer brand content, motion graphics, and trend-driven video. Whether it's an iPhone clip or a CapCut one - your eye, taste, and timing will help define how Emumba shows up to the world.
What You’ll Do
Content Capture & Creation
- Capture video/photo content at events, in-office, and behind the scenes
- Edit short-form videos and reels with smooth pacing, on-brand style, and crisp storytelling
- Support designers and motion designers in building out more dynamic content (e.g., animations, explainers)
Collaboration & Brand Alignment
- Work with the marketing team to bring campaigns to life through video and photography
- Maintain a visual tone aligned with Emumba’s brand identity
- Organize gear, manage file libraries, and prep raw content for future use
Innovation & AI-Enabled Production
- Explore GenAI video tools and editing accelerators (e.g., auto-captioning, b-roll generators)
- Stay plugged into platform trends (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok) and integrate new formats
- Contribute to brainstorms for campaigns, employer branding shoots, and launch moments
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1–2 years of experience in video production, visual content creation, or photography (freelance counts!)
- Strong grasp of composition, lighting, framing, and audio basics
- Familiarity with video editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other creative ecosystems
- Curiosity and appetite for learning—especially around new tools and GenAI workflows
- A portfolio, Instagram feed, or sample reel that shows what you’ve got
- Experience creating storyboards and planning visual narratives for videos or campaigns
- Motion graphics or basic animation skills (CapCut overlays, After Effects, etc.)
- Confidence in writing post captions, content ideas, or video descriptions
- An eye for storytelling and timing in social-first content
