VMware Senior Consultant

We are looking for 6+years experienced candidates for this role.

Responsibilities include:

• Solution Design & Architecture: Gather and analyse customer requirements to design scalable, resilient, and secure VCF architectures, including the definition of management and workload domains.
• Deployment & Configuration: Lead the deployment and configuration of the full VCF stack, including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and the Aria Suite (Automation, Operations, Log Insight, etc.).
• Consulting & Advising: Act as a trusted advisor to clients and their technical teams, guiding them on best practices, operational procedures, and IT transformation strategies.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level (L3/L4) support and root cause analysis for complex issues across the compute, storage, and networking layers of the VCF environment.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create detailed technical documentation, design documents, and operational runbooks. Conduct workshops and knowledge transfer sessions to enable customer teams to manage the environment effectively.
• Lifecycle Management & Optimization: Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management activities using the SDDC Manager, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with security best practices.
• Integration: Integrate VCF solutions with third-party tools such as backup, monitoring, security, and automation platforms.

Primary Skills :

• Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation and its core components (vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, Aria Suite).
• Cloud & IT Fundamentals: Strong understanding of virtualization, networking (L2/L3), storage concepts, and potentially public cloud integrations (AWS, Azure).
• Automation: Experience with data center automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell is highly desirable.
• Certifications: Relevant professional certifications are often required, such as the VMware Certified Professional - VCF Architect (VCP-VCF Architect), or advanced certifications like VCAP or VCDX.
• Soft Skills: Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, problem-solving, and project leadership skills.
• Travel: Willingness to travel to client sites as needed for project engagements is a common requirement.

Secondary Skills :

• Cypress / Postman / REST tools for API automation
• Kusto Query Language (KQL) or Azure Log Analytics
• Docker / Kubernetes environments
• Python scripting or exposure to AI-driven testing concepts

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,185,152.51 - ₹2,393,157.71 per year
