Overview
We’re looking for a creative hybrid who performs JoJo (voice acting) and builds the episode soundscape (sound design, SFX, music supervision/mix). You’ll turn script → performance → final audio masters ready for animation and social.
Responsibilities
- Voice Acting
- Perform JoJo across emotional range (meltdown rants, fast/staccato lines, quiet vulnerability, comic effects).
Sound Direction & Design
- Create the episode’s full sound design: ambience, custom glitch SFX, transitional portal sting (sonic logo).
- Oversee music selection / composer coordination or license tracks; deliver music beds and stems.
- Mix and master final episode audio (full mix + stems: dialog / music / SFX).
- Deliver short social-cut mixes (15s/30s) optimized for platform loudness specs.
Collaboration & Deliverables
- Work with director / animators on sync, timing, and iteration rounds.
- Provide SFX library (30–50 files) from the episode for reuse.
- Prepare cue sheets and music licensing docs if applicable.
- Support 1 round of revisions post-delivery
- Deliver clean, editorial-ready takes (dry WAVs) plus production-ready reference masters.
- Provide alternate reads, promo VO snippets (15s/30s), and any ADR pickups.
Skills
- Proven voice acting credits (animation, web series, games, or commercials). Strong comedic timing and range.
- Proven sound design / supervising sound credits (shorts, animation, games, or podcasts). Able to produce broadcast-quality final mixes.
- Comfortable in a DAW (Pro Tools preferred) and delivering stems, session notes, and masters.
- Ability to create distinctive SFX (glitches, bitcrush, spectral effects) and integrate music seamlessly.
- Good communication, fast turnaround, and ability to work within tight schedules.
