Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain VOIP solutions and telephony systems.
  • Configure and support VOIP platforms (IP PBX, SIP, softphones, gateways).
  • Troubleshoot VOIP-related issues including call quality, latency, jitter, and packet loss.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure service availability and SLA compliance.
  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Support, and Network teams to resolve issues.
  • Support customers during implementation, migration, and post-deployment phases.
  • Maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
  • Ensure system security and follow best practices for VOIP environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a VOIP Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • SIP, RTP, IP-PBX
  • VOIP protocols and call flows
  • Experience with VOIP systems such as:
  • Asterisk / FreePBX / 3CX / Cisco (or similar)
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, NAT, QoS, VLANs).
  • Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • English proficiency (technical communication).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ISP or IT solutions environments.
  • Certifications related to VOIP or Networking.
  • Experience dealing with corporate or enterprise customers.
