VP of Product Development / Engineering (Part-Time, Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a senior, highly capable VP of Product Development / Engineering to take ownership of our platform’s technical quality, logic, and future development.

This is not a junior or mid-level developer role.

This position requires someone who can think at a product level, make sound technical decisions, and ensure that fixes and enhancements are implemented correctly, completely, and sustainably.

You will act as the technical authority for our dashboard and website while managing and guiding our internal engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and quality of the product (dashboard & website)
• Review, prioritize, and correctly implement platform fixes and enhancements
• Ensure issues are fully resolved, not temporarily patched
• Translate business requirements into clear technical execution
• Lead, manage, and guide internal engineers
• Review system logic, workflows, architecture, and implementation quality
• Recommend platform improvements, optimizations, and scalability enhancements
• Coordinate with U.S.-based leadership during overlapping hours
• Serve as the final technical decision-maker on product-related matters
• Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Prior experience as:
• Engineering Manager
• Technical Lead
• Head of Engineering
• VP of Engineering / Product
• Strong understanding of:
• Web platforms & dashboards
• Backend systems and workflows
• Product architecture & system logic
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Proven experience leading engineers and enforcing quality standards
• Strong problem-solving and product-thinking mindset
• High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
• Must be familiar with PHP

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 15 per week
