Little Caterpillar Childcare is seeking a positive, upbeat, and dedicated VPK/Pre-K Teacher to join our family-oriented early learning center. Position Summary

The VPK/Pre-K Teacher will lead our 4-year-old classroom with creativity, patience, and enthusiasm. You will provide a structured yet warm learning environment, implement developmentally appropriate activities, and support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
• Implement VPK/Pre-K curriculum and lesson plans
• Support children in developing kindergarten-readiness skills
• Communicate effectively with families and team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Foster social-emotional learning, confidence, and independence
• Model positive guidance and professional conduct

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool or VPK-aged children (preferred)
• Positive, upbeat, and dependable attitude
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the program
• DCF 45 hours required

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
