Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards
• Support bussing and table maintenance to keep the dining area clean and inviting

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus but not required
