A waiter/waitress provides excellent dining experiences by greeting guests, taking accurate food/beverage orders, and serving them promptly. Key duties include managing tables, using POS systems, ensuring food safety, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness. Essential skills include strong communication, multitasking, and a friendly demeanor. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greeting guests, presenting menus, answering questions about ingredients, and making recommendations.
  • Order Taking & Serving: Accurately taking orders, inputting them into POS systems, and delivering food/drinks from the kitchen to the table.
  • Table Maintenance: Setting up tables, clearing dirty dishes (pre-bussing), and cleaning tables for new guests.
  • Payment Processing: Delivering checks and handling cash or card payments.
  • Collaboration: Working with kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct and timely.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff.
  • Efficiency: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and ingredients.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry trays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,300.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
