Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Waiter to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert knowledge of our menu, and efficient handling of orders and transactions. Your enthusiasm for food, beverages, and guest relations will help create memorable dining moments for every guest. KResponsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety protocols in food handling and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash, credit card, and other sales transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently by leveraging beverage knowledge including wine, spirits, cocktails, and fine dining options
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash transactions
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus for managing guest seating efficiently
• Knowledge of the food industry trends, culinary techniques, and beverage service to enhance guest experiences

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
