Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring prompt and correct service
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a high level of guest relations throughout the dining experience
• Clear tables, bus stations, and assist with restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, supporting smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or events like nightclub evenings

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and cashiering tasks
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure guest safety at all times
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a genuine approach that enhances guest satisfaction
• Experience in serving or host/hostess roles combined with basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
