Job Summary:

The waiter in a catering company is responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service at events such as corporate companies, corporate functions, and private parties. This role involves setting up service areas, serving guests efficiently, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up dining areas, buffet stations, and service tables before events
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist with food presentation and replenishment during events
  • Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and event supervisors
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve basic service issues
  • Assist in packing up equipment and cleaning the venue after events

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant service preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and coordination skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

Skills:

  • Customer service skills

  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Working Conditions:

  • Work is usually event-based (indoor and outdoor venues)
  • Long hours may be required during events
  • Physical tasks such as carrying trays, setting up equipment, and moving items

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,256.00 per month

Experience:

  • Catering: 1 year (Preferred)
