Waitress cum Cashier

Position Summary

The Waitress cum Cashier is responsible for providing excellent guest service while also managing billing and payment transactions. She ensures smooth service delivery, accurate order processing, and efficient cash handling, contributing to guest satisfaction and outlet profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests, present menus, and provide recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Handle billing operations: prepare checks, process cash/card payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling, daily sales reconciliation, and POS system entries.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Keep service areas, cashier desk, and dining sections clean and organized.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and service standards in compliance with Qatar regulations.
• Support colleagues during peak service hours to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum High School Diploma; hospitality or cashier training preferred.
• Previous experience in F&B service and cashiering is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Professional grooming and customer-oriented attitude.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
