Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
• Assist in food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while delivering excellent guest service
• Manage table turnover efficiently by bussing and resetting tables promptly
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food handling stations
• Support host/hostess duties by managing reservations through OpenTable and coordinating guest seating
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy hours
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant roles, or hospitality environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking smoothly
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus but not required
• Kitchen experience or culinary background is beneficial for supporting food prep tasks
• Valid serving or bartending certifications
