Waiter/ Senior Waiter

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
• Present the menu, explain daily specials, and make recommendations when required.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve dishes and beverages promptly and correctly.
• Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and overall experience.
• Handle guest complaints or requests professionally and report to the supervisor/manager when necessary.
• Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area at all times.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant as per the checklist.
• Support colleagues and assist in other sections during busy periods.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams.
• Attend daily briefings and contribute to maintaining service standards.
• Supervise and guide junior waiters during service.
• Ensure smooth coordination between service and kitchen.
• Handle VIP tables and special guest requests.
• Assist the supervisor/manager in training new staff and monitoring performance.
• Ensure all service standards and policies are consistently followed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a fine dining or high-end restaurant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• For Senior Waiter: Proven leadership skills and ability to handle section independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR2,200.00 per month
