- Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
- Present the menu, explain daily specials, and make recommendations when required.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
- Serve dishes and beverages promptly and correctly.
- Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and overall experience.
- Handle guest complaints or requests professionally and report to the supervisor/manager when necessary.
- Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout the shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area at all times.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant as per the checklist.
- Support colleagues and assist in other sections during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar teams.
- Attend daily briefings and contribute to maintaining service standards.
- Supervise and guide junior waiters during service.
- Ensure smooth coordination between service and kitchen.
- Handle VIP tables and special guest requests.
- Assist the supervisor/manager in training new staff and monitoring performance.
- Ensure all service standards and policies are consistently followed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a fine dining or high-end restaurant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- For Senior Waiter: Proven leadership skills and ability to handle section independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to QAR2,200.00 per month
