Responsible for delivering friendly and efficient service by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests and ensuring they have a great experience at Tribe and through our Food & Beverage outlets. You should be attentive to our guest s needs and preferences, make recommendations and serve drinks and food accurately and efficiently according to the restaurant s standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve guests in assigned section under the supervision of the Manager, Restaurant and prepares mise-en-place daily
  • Take customer orders and deliver food and beverages
  • Answer any menu questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverages, daily specials, retail, on-going promotions, etc.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
  • Follow the standard sequence of service as per outlet SOP
  • Actively upsell at all opportunities to help increase the average check
  • Anticipate guests needs and to react to these in order to provide maximum guests satisfaction and to promote guest relations
  • Stock up all workstations and ensure they are operationally ready
  • Clear all soiled dishes from workstations
  • Demonstrate teamwork by co-operating and assisting colleagues as needed
  • Assist the Manager, Restaurant in running the daily operations
  • Adhere to all cash handling policies and procedures
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
