Waiter / Waitress

Role Overview:

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. This role includes welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service at all times.
• Present menus, explain items, and make recommendations when needed.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Serve orders promptly and ensure all items are delivered correctly.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Operations

• Prepare tables, seating areas, and service stations before opening.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas at all times.
• Restock service items such as cutlery, napkins, condiments, and glassware.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Support baristas and kitchen staff during busy hours.

Teamwork

• Coordinate with barista and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist team members whenever necessary to maintain operations.
• Follow instructions from the Supervisor or Manager.

Cash Handling

• Process payments accurately (cash, card, or online).
• Ensure correct billing and handle receipts properly.

Standards & Brand Image

• Uphold company grooming and service standards at all times.
• Represent the café with professionalism, positivity, and hospitality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in F&B or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and during peak hours.
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and hygiene practices.
• Flexible with schedule (weekends, shifts, events).

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
