Waiter / Waitress Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and professional Waiter/Waitress to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure guest satisfaction, and create a welcoming dining experience that encourages repeat visits.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide attentive and efficient table service throughout the dining experience
• Take orders accurately and communicate clearly with kitchen staff
• Recommend menu items and use upselling techniques to increase sales
• Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on guests during service
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area and service stations
• Prepare mise-en-place and ensure tables, cutlery, and glassware are ready
• Handle billing, process payments, and operate POS system (Micros preferred)
• Manage cash transactions accurately when required
• Follow food and beverage service standards and company procedures
• Assist team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Secure restaurant area and complete closing duties after service

Requirements

• Preferably Arabic speaking
• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a customer service role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of POS systems (Micros is an advantage)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and professionalism
• Ability to provide excellent guest service and upselling skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
