Job Title: Waitress
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Outlet Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional and experienced Waitress with a minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining restaurants. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a refined dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide an excellent dining experience from arrival to departure
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations when required
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service
- Serve dishes and beverages professionally, following fine dining service etiquette
- Ensure tables are set, cleaned, and maintained according to restaurant standards
- Upsell menu items and suggest wine or beverage pairings to enhance guest experience
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, grooming, and presentation at all times
- Follow company policies, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Waitress in a fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards, table setting, and etiquette
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Professional appearance, grooming, and positive attitude
- Team player with strong work ethics
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
