Waiter/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and have a passion for providing an exceptional experience. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that guests feel welcomed and well-cared for while enjoying their meals.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Present menus, provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, and assist guests in making selections.
• Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and ensure compliance throughout service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Utilize Toast POS system for order entry, payment processing, and tracking sales data efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast pace restaurant setting
• Strong understanding of culinary terminology and food safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and service excellence.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, particularly Toast POS
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
• A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to create an enjoyable atmosphere for guests.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.13 - $19.00 per hour
