Job Criteria – Waiter/Waitress

1. Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is desirable.

2. Skills & Competencies

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to take orders accurately and deliver food promptly.
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Basic math skills for handling bills and payments.
• Good time management and attention to detail.

3. Personal Qualities

• Neat and presentable appearance.
• Polite, respectful, and customer-focused.
• Team player with a willingness to support colleagues.
• Fast learner and adaptable to changes.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

4. Job Knowledge

• Understanding of menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
• Knowledge of restaurant hygiene and safety standards.
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is an advantage.
