Waiter/Waitress Cashier at Four Winds Fine Foods

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, food and beverage knowledge, and a positive attitude. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority. Prior experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Clover. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, excellent time management, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Toast
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during service
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
  • Assist with bussing tables, resetting tables promptly for new guests
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods
  • Address guest inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster guest relations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
  • Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or food handling is advantageous
