Waitress and Cashier

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide information on menu items, specials, and promotions.
  • Order Processing and Cash Handling:
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Handle cash transactions and provide correct change.
  • Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:
  • Keep the dining area, counter, and workstations clean and organized.
  • Assist with clearing tables and maintaining a tidy environment.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Communicate effectively to fulfill customer orders promptly.
  • Upselling and Menu Knowledge:
  • Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience.
  • Stay informed about menu offerings and provide recommendations to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a waitress or cashier is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
