Responsibilities:
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide information on menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Order Processing and Cash Handling:
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Handle cash transactions and provide correct change.
- Ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
- Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:
- Keep the dining area, counter, and workstations clean and organized.
- Assist with clearing tables and maintaining a tidy environment.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and other staff to ensure smooth service.
- Communicate effectively to fulfill customer orders promptly.
- Upselling and Menu Knowledge:
- Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience.
- Stay informed about menu offerings and provide recommendations to customers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waitress or cashier is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
