Warehouse and Shipping Process Engineer

This role combines industrial engineering principles with hands-on logistics management, requiring a strong analytical mindset, technical proficiency, and a passion for continuous improvement. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive automation, streamline workflows, and enhance overall warehouse and shipping performance.

You will be responsible for improving layout designs, material flow, and shipping logistics to ensure maximum productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

What You Will Do

• Support planning for forecasting, resource allocation, and capacity.
• Drive process improvements using Lean/Kaizen methodologies.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Optimize warehouse layouts and material flow.
• Define and oversee stock handling procedures (receiving, storing, loading).
• Implement inventory accuracy systems and conduct audits.
• Ensure safe and efficient use of equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes).
• Coordinate loading/unloading with customer service and logistics.
• Manage shipping documentation and ensure export compliance.
• Monitor performance metrics to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with project, procurement, production, and customer service teams.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or shipping process engineering, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of HSE standards and compliance with warehouse operations.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Proven experience in process optimization, material handling, and inventory management systems.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse layout design, material flow, and space optimization.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation, export/import procedures, and freight management.
• Understanding of logistics KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), lead time, and handling cost.
