Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for another great teammate to join our Warehouse team. The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This role ensures accurate inventory management, proper material handling, organization of products and parts, and timely preparation of materials for technicians and installers. As an office teammate, you are a key member of the team and represent Mr. Electric every day.

Specific Responsibilities:

Inventory & Materials Management

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming tools, hardware, and accessories
• Unload delivery trucks and stock materials in designated warehouse locations
• Assist with inventory counts (weekly/monthly cycle counts)
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to management
• Maintain accurate inventory organization for quick technician access
• Run parts and materials as needed

Order Preparation

• Pull and stage materials for scheduled installations and service calls
• Ensure job packets match materials staged
• Load technician trucks with correct materials each morning
• Assist with returns and restocking unused materials

Warehouse Organization

• Maintain clean and organized warehouse space
• Properly store equipment and materials to prevent damage
• Keep hardware bins labeled and stocked
• Follow safety guidelines for lifting and equipment use
• Dispose of trash, packaging materials, and scrap properly

Equipment & Safety

• Follow OSHA and company safety standards
• Use proper lifting techniques
• Report safety hazards immediately

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs (with assistance when needed)
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and move throughout the day
• Comfortable working in warehouse conditions (heat/cold depending on season

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay range for our Warehouse Assistant is $18 to $20 per hour depending on your level of experience.
