Warehouse Associate

International Fasteners, Inc is a leading distributor of quality construction fasteners throughout the United States. We are looking for an individual to work at our company headquarters Tampa warehouse and help us to uphold the highest standard of service that we provide for our customers. This Warehouse Associate role is an important part of all warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities:

Participate in all aspects of daily functions including but not limited to the following:

-Reviews and ensures all paperwork is prepared and included with shipment

-Coordination of freight shipments and will call orders

-Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons

-Compares identifying information of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, transfer slips, or other records

-Sorts and stages the freight to ensure all deliveries go with the correct drivers

-Regularly monitors inventory for discrepancies and completes periodic cycle counts

-Observes levels of consumables or other packing materials and replenishes/requests as needed

-Keeps the warehouse clean and organized to provide a safe workspace

Requirements:

- Relevant experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.

- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other related software.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges effectively.

- Ability to work with a team of warehouse personnel.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and dispatching procedures.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Must be able to lift boxes up to 50lbs.

- Forklift operation experience and/or Certification

- Ability to consistently arrive at the warehouse for the beginning of their shift and works effectively for duration of the working period.

Compensation:

Salary based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
