Are you experienced in managing warehouse operations for oil & gas or industrial projects? Do you have strong organizational skills, knowledge of inventory control systems, and the ability to manage materials in a high-volume, fast-paced environment? If so, you're the Warehouse Officer we’re looking for.
Our client is hiring a Warehouse Officer to oversee receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking project materials. The ideal candidate should be familiar with oil & gas logistics, maintain accurate records, ensure data accuracy, and handle materials according to safety and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, and dispatch of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or warehouse management software (WMS).
- Perform data entry for all material transactions to ensure up-to-date and accurate records.
- Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and stock rotation of all incoming materials.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and site teams for timely material issuance and replenishment.
- Monitor stock levels, generate inventory reports, and identify potential shortages.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
- Enforce HSE policies and ensure the safe handling of materials, especially hazardous or flammable goods.
- Maintain proper documentation for all material transactions, deliveries, and returns.
- Supervise warehouse helpers and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Warehouse Officer in oil & gas, industrial, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, data entry, material handling procedures, and stock control.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and material coding systems.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel, ERP systems, or warehouse software.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in field/project-based warehouse setups under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
