Warehouse Helper

The Warehouse Helper assists with the efficient operation of the warehouse by performing various tasks, including receiving, storing, and distributing products, materials, and equipment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Unloading:

• Unload trucks and check in products or materials.
• Verify the quantity and quality of items received.
• Inspect items for damage and report any discrepancies.

Storage and Organization:

• Organize and store items in the designated areas.
• Label items and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Picking and Packing:

• Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
• Pack items securely to ensure they are safe during transit.
• Label packages accurately for shipping.

Inventory Management:

• Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Report any inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.

Material Handling:

• Operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Move materials and products to and from storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor..

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy object
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
• Age Below 28
• Fluency in Malayalam is preferred.
