Warehouse Helper

Summary

We are looking for a dedicated, punctual, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Helper. The ideal candidate will support daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient handling of goods.

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently
• Receive, inspect, and verify delivered goods against invoices or orders
• Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to company standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock counting
• Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) where required
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of goods
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse at all times
• Follow company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Assist supervisors and team members in daily operational tasks
• Report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies promptly

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Middle/Matric education preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items
• Strong work ethic with a responsible and disciplined attitude
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations is an advantage
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if required

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Familiarity with inventory management practices
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse setting
