Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the storage, inventory, and dispatch of laminates, plywood, boards, and related materials. The candidate will ensure proper stock management, timely dispatch, and safe handling of heavy sheet materials while maintaining warehouse efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records of laminates, plywood, veneers, and hardware
• Monitor incoming and outgoing stock
• Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification
• Prevent stock damage, wastage, and misplacement

2. Warehouse Operations

• Supervise daily warehouse activities (loading, unloading, stacking)
• Ensure proper storage of sheets (moisture-safe & damage-free stacking)
• Optimize warehouse space utilization
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouse

3. Dispatch & Logistics

• Manage order picking, packing, and dispatch
• Coordinate with transporters and delivery teams
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to clients/dealers
• Prepare dispatch challans and delivery documents

4. Team Management

• Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and loaders
• Assign daily tasks and monitor performance
• Ensure discipline and productivity in the warehouse team

5. Safety & Material Handling

• Ensure safe handling of heavy plywood and laminate sheets
• Implement safety procedures and damage control
• Monitor use of trolleys, forklifts, and lifting equipment (if available)

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain inward/outward registers
• Track stock reports in Excel and Tally
• Report stock shortages, damages, and slow-moving items
• Generate daily and monthly warehouse reports

Required Skills:

• Strong inventory and stock management skills
• Knowledge of plywood, laminates, MDF, boards (preferred)
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Tally)
• Leadership and team management ability
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle heavy material logistics

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Graduate / Diploma (any field)
• Experience: 2–5 years in Warehouse Management (preferably in Plywood, Laminate, Hardware, or Building Material industry)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to manage heavy material warehouse operations
• Active supervision on warehouse floor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
