Warehouse Manager

Our Warehouse Team is the heartbeat of our business, and the Warehouse Manager is responsible for boots-on-the-ground people and process leadership and daily oversight of all warehouse operations.

In a 3PL environment, small breakdowns in execution can quickly cascade into cost overruns, customer dissatisfaction, and operational instability. This position ensures safety, efficiency, inventory accuracy, and disciplined execution across our shipping, receiving, picking, packing, kitting and storing functions.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, kitting, Atomix Micro-Pods, and order fulfillment.
  • Manage 40 to 60 employees in multiple work functions, ensuring productivity, accountability, and engagement across all warehouse shifts.
  • Maintain multiple strict service level agreements by ensuring on-time, accurate order fulfillment across multiple client accounts.
  • Facilitate multiclient inventory environments, ensuring accurate segregation, tracking and reporting of customer-owned products within a shared warehouse space.
  • Implement Lean principles to continuously improve operations and warehouse flow.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs such as order accuracy, dock-to-stock time, pick rates, and on-time shipping to meet contractual performance metrics. Drive cost control and labor efficiency in a variable-volume environment where customer demand fluctuates often.
  • Has general working experience in a 3PL, Multi-Client Warehouse Operations environment.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for client escalations, operational reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen customer retention and growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and interpret KPIs, labor metrics, and other operational data to drive improvements.
  • Manage departmental budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate transportation and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate closely with transportation partners and carriers to optimize inbound and outbound freight scheduling for diverse client needs.
  • The Warehouse Manager must manage budgets and collaborate across departments to optimize fulfillment processes that deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.

Leadership Requirements

5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments (multi-shift management in a warehouse preferred).

  • Proven leader of people with a grind & hustle mentality, while still maintaining empathy and commitment to their team.
  • Experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a senior warehouse leadership role.
  • Strong ability to develop leaders, build strong teams, and improve performance through coaching and accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams (40–60 employees) and overseeing budgets.
  • A proactive, dynamic, hands-on leadership style with the flexibility to support both day and night operations.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and prioritization capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Warehouse Professionalism

  • Familiarity with Lean principles and process optimization in warehouse settings.
  • Deep understanding of OSHA, DOT, and safety compliance requirements.
  • Professional computer proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems, Google Applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and other productivity tools.
  • Develop and implement effective warehouse processes, layouts, and procedures to maximize throughput and minimize waste.

Minimum Requirements of Job

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, fork lift).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
