Part-Time Warehouse, Inventory, and Facilities Assistant – LMG Construction
Location: Kansas City, MO

About the Role
LMG Construction, a leading commercial plumbing subcontractor and pipe/equipment supplier based in downtown Kansas City, MO, is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Warehouse and Facilities Assistant.

This part-time position focuses on organizing inventory, tools, and materials while also assisting with light repairs and upkeep of the office and warehouse. We’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, and trustworthy—comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and catalog all power tools, hand tools, and construction materials against the company’s inventory list.
  • Create and maintain simple inventory records (Excel or Google Sheets).
  • Label and arrange shelving, bins, and storage zones for easier access.
  • Assist in loading/unloading, sorting, and preparing items for potential resale or restocking.
  • Perform light building and warehouse maintenance.
  • Ensure the warehouse and office remain clean, organized, and safe.
  • Communicate effectively with ownership about progress, needs, or materials to order.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or maintenance roles.
  • Proven reliability and integrity when working unsupervised.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with power tools, light carpentry, and general building maintenance.
  • Computer literacy (basic Excel or Google Sheets for inventory tracking). Strong computer skills are a big plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

Preferred but Not Required

  • Background in construction, plumbing supply, or related trades.
  • Experience setting up or managing small warehouse systems.
