Job Purpose
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations , ensuring accurate inventory management, timely billing, goods receipt (GRN) processing , and supporting basic accounting functions . This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with internal policies, and smooth coordination between warehouse, finance, and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and audits.
- Billing & GRN
- Process billing accurately and on time for goods dispatched.
- Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for received materials, verifying quantity, quality, and documentation .
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing or GRN discrepancies .
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels , including stock in/out and adjustments.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation with physical counts.
- Implement FIFO / LIFO inventory methods and maintain proper storage practices.
- Accounting & Reporting
- Support basic accounting functions such as invoice verification, expense tracking, and ledger entries.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly warehouse and inventory reports for management.
- Assist Finance/Accounts team during internal and external audits .
- Team Management
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs .
- Monitor staff productivity and maintain attendance and performance records .
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies .
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, billing, and GRN processes .
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation .
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Warehouse Management Systems .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills .
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team .
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and billing/accounting functions.
- Experience in ERP systems, inventory control software, and billing systems is a plus.
- Performance Metrics / KPIs
- Accuracy of billing and GRN processing .
- Inventory accuracy and reduction in discrepancies .
- Timely preparation of warehouse and financial reports .
- Compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and audit requirements .

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
