We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounts Manager with 10–15 years of expertise in Trading, Warehouse Management, and Logistics. The ideal candidate will take ownership of end-to-end financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency across accounting, inventory, and logistics. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on accounting knowledge, leadership ability, and a proven track record in managing complex financial and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee complete accounting operations including AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Manage accounting for trading activities—purchases, sales, stock movement, landed cost, and margin analysis.
- Implement and monitor robust systems for inventory accounting, warehouse audits, stock valuation, and reporting.
- Oversee logistics-related accounting including freight, customs duty, demurrage, transportation charges, and vendor settlements.
- Ensure strict compliance with statutory and tax regulations (GST, TDS, audits, and filings).
- Review and analyze MIS reports, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in warehousing and logistics operations and implement efficiency measures.
- Work closely with warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts and finance team to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Drive ERP/Accounting system implementations and process optimization across trading and logistics functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 10–15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5–7 years in trading, warehouse management, or logistics sector.
- Deep understanding of trading margins, stock valuation, landed cost calculations, logistics cost accounting, and working capital management.
- Strong expertise with ERP/Accounting systems such as Zoho Books, SAP, Tally, or Oracle.
- Thorough knowledge of taxation, compliance, statutory requirements, and audit handling.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a large team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in international trading and import/export documentation.
- Exposure to supply chain finance, trade credit, and fund management.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Finance Suite or advanced ERP platforms.
