**Operations Analyst**
The Operations Analyst is a detail-oriented, analytical professional responsible for developing, documenting, and continuously improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the fulfillment operation. This role acts as a critical bridge between departments—Order Processing, Accounting, and Warehouse—ensuring seamless communication, data-driven insights, and efficient end-to-end workflows that eliminate bottlenecks and drive operational excellence.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive SOPs for all fulfillment processes, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with company standards.
- Collaborate closely with Order Processing, Accounting, and Warehouse teams to gather feedback, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements that reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
- Analyze operational data and workflows across departments to pinpoint bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and support cross-functional coordination.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fulfillment accuracy, cycle times, and cost efficiency; prepare clear reports and presentations for leadership.
- Facilitate regular communication and meetings between departments to align on priorities, resolve issues, and ensure smooth handoffs.
- Support quality control initiatives by documenting best practices and training teams on new or revised SOPs.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation, order accuracy audits, and continuous improvement projects using data and team input.
**Qualifications & Skills**
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex processes clearly to diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving workflow challenges.
- Proficient in computer applications, Excel, and/or business systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
**Education & Experience**
- Experience in operations analysis, process improvement, or a similar role within warehousing, fulfillment, logistics, or 3PL environments.
- Proven track record of creating or optimizing SOPs and driving cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
