Main Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse personnel to attain specific goals and measurable results.

Ensure accuracy within warehouse operations.

Establish, monitor, and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment in strict compliance with government regulations and Company policies

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices.

Maintain accurate and complete documentation of warehouse operations and personnel.
-
Train and develop supervisors, identifying and mentoring high potential candidates
-
Successful interaction between other departments within the distribution center
-
Implement best practices in managing inventories using a warehouse management system
-
Ability to effectively manage personnel to ensure productivity
-
Ability to work effectively in a range of temperatures down to -20 degrees.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following
-
High school graduate
-
College Degree strongly preferred
-
10 plus years of distribution and warehouse experience in grocery wholesale industry.

Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, HAACP, FDA, DEA, EPA, safety regulations, sanitation, and food safety as required for warehouse operations

Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.

Strong knowledge of engineered labor standards preferred

Excellent written and oral interpersonal/communication skills
-
Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) preferred for successful leadership.

Strong ability to chart, forecast, plan, manage, and measure day-to-day operations.

Able to effectively interact with multiple levels within the company.

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Exhibits initiative, customer service skills, and resourcefulness.
