Warehouse Logistics Specialist

The Warehouse Logistics Specialist supports warehouse operations and order fulfillment across three distribution warehouses. The personnel will be on site at our main distribution center but will help support two other locations remotely. This position works closely with the Warehouse Manager to help maintain workflow, support order processing, and ensure daily warehouse priorities are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Move sales orders from the circulation office to the picking lead for processing
• Print labels in the circulation office for required sales orders
• Resolve delayed order issues with sales, customer service or warehouse manager
• Support the picking team with order picking and packing as needed to reduce backlog
• Assist the picking team in locating inventory not found during picking
• Check in drivers at the main warehouse and provide support to remote warehouses as needed
• Load and unload freight using pallet jacks, electric jacks, or forklifts, depending on what is most appropriate for the product and situation
• Respond to emails, chats, and calls from headquarters staff and external partners
• Support the Warehouse Manager with on-floor priorities such as cycle counts, inbound freight photos, and other operational tasks tied to headquarters or customer requests
• Monitor shipping forecast schedules to help warehouse leads prioritize orders and customer accounts
• Monitor conveyor lines to ensure all parcel orders are cleared by end of day; provide support when needed to meet deadlines
• Load carriers with LTL, parcel, and truckload shipments in prompt manner
• Assist walk-in applicants with applications and schedule orientations based on current vacancies
• Maintain a daily to-do list and review progress and gaps with the Warehouse Manager at the end of each day
• Communicate daily deadlines to warehouse leads and coordinate freight staging to support efficient carrier loading and departure
• Monitor employee safety practices and promptly report concerns to the Warehouse Manager
• Complete process checklists assigned by the Warehouse Manager to verify departments are following documented procedures
• Support material handlers by ensuring all components and supplies are properly located by end of day
• Stage inventory for company drivers to help expedite the transfer of goods from main warehouse to remote locations

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, electric jacks, and forklifts safely
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and support multiple departments in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for email, chat, order processing, and internal communication
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse leads, drivers, and headquarters teams

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and support loading and unloading activities
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to take notes and keep track of all request in neat and orderly fashion

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
